Are you looking for an eye doctor that accepts March Vision Care in Charlotte or Asheville, NC?
If so, look no further!
At Northlake Eye, our eye doctors proudly accept March Vision Care! In fact, we accept a variety of vision AND medical insurances (you can see a full list here).
Does March Vision Care cover eye exams and glasses for children and adults?
Yes! Children and adults are eligible for an eye exam and glasses under March Vision Care, a company that administers vision care benefits for managed care organizations such as Medicaid.
Also, if you have a medical eye problem (i.e. pink eye, allergies, dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.), NC Medicaid and NC Health Choice cover medical eye visits.

Will March Vision Care replace broken frames?
March Vision Care does not replace broken frames. Therefore, if you break your glasses before you're eligible for a new eye exam, you'll have to replace them out of pocket. A good rule of thumb for children wearing glasses is, "If they're not on your face, they're in your case!"
Does March Vision Care cover contact lenses?
March Vision Care does not cover contact lens materials or evaluation fees. As a result, if you have March Vision Care and want to wear contact lenses, this would be an out of pocket cost.
Fortunately for you, our office provides contact lens evaluations at a very economical price. Also, we carry only the safest contact lenses available, most of which will not break the bank to wear!

Does March Vision Care cover LASIK eye surgery?
It probably comes as no surprise that March Vision Care does not cover LASIK eye surgery. In fact, to my knowledge, there are not any vision or medical insurances out there that cover LASIK. Why? LASIK is considered an "elective or cosmetic surgery", like getting a nose job or liposuction. You can learn more about LASIK and PRK here!
