Dr. Steven Kotsokalis was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He attended South Mecklenburg High School and graduated in 2008. Dr. Kotsokalis graduated from North Carolina State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he graduated with clinical honors and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016. His passion for eye care led him to complete a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center from 2016-2017. His optometric areas of interest have focused on the management of ocular disease and specialty contact lenses.

 

In his free time, Dr. Kotsokalis enjoys exploring the outdoors, weight-lifting, biking, and spending time with his wife, kids, and German shepherd.
